Overview

As a trust law firm, we consistently take a big picture approach to our trust services practice. Our experienced team of fiduciaries, investment advisors, tax professionals, trust administrators, and support staff ensure that the needs and interests of the individual and family are met first and foremost, without losing sight of the long-term implications. Every person and family that we counsel benefits from a personalized, thoughtful process that places the highest value on client service.

Our Clients
We counsel high net worth individuals and families, structuring plans to advance client goals, optimize tax results, preserve wealth and foster the development of personal responsibility in succeeding generations.

Our Practice
We act as advisors and, in many cases, fiduciaries, providing service as personal representatives, trustees, conservators, and guardians. Nutter has a proven track record in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and other probate matters for more than a century. We are proud to oversee the administration of  more than 2,000 trusts containing in excess of $2 billion in assets within our trust department and Nutter partners serve as trustees of  hundreds more  trusts at other financial institutions. Clients often rely on us for a holistic approach and a long-term perspective that meets the needs of different generations. Our private client attorneys are distinguished for their attentive service and tradition of excellence. Our team brings expertise to bear on many issues, including:

  • Holistic, multigenerational estate management
  • Fiduciary services, including advising outside fiduciaries on best practices
  • Investment services, including stewardship of funds and prudent, moderate long-term allocation
  • Philanthropy and charitable giving
  • Individual and fiduciary tax services
