Nutter announced today that Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) 2020 honored the firm for excellence in Private Wealth Law in Massachusetts. According to the guide, Nutter’s Private Client Department is “terrific, an excellent trusts and estate shop”.

Four Nutter lawyers were recognized as notable practitioners: Peter Brown, Natalie Choate, and William Kirchick in the category of Private Wealth Law and Thomas Jalkut in the category of Private Wealth Disputes.

Brown has extensive experience in estate planning, with a particular focus on philanthropy. The guide lauded his “solution-oriented approach to his legal work, especially in trusts administration”. Choate was described as “the dean of planning with retirement benefits”. She has authored two texts on estate planning for retirement benefits, which were praised as “key to estate planning”. The guide noted that Jalkut is an “experienced, very capable, efficient and responsive” estate planner who is “well known for probate litigation matters”. Kirchick was praised as a “very bright and very committed” attorney who is also “very down-to-earth” and “relatable”.
