Liam T. O’Connell and Michael E. Scott Commence Terms as Nutter Co-Managing Partners

BOSTON – July 1, 2019 –  Nutter today announced that Liam T. O’Connell and Michael E. Scott have commenced their terms as the firm’s co-managing partners, succeeding the firm’s immediate past Managing Partner Deborah J. Manus, whose eight-year term as managing partner ended on June 30, 2019. 

O’Connell joined the firm in 2008, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, chair of the firm’s Labor, Employment and Benefits practice group, and a former chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. Scott, also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, joined the firm in 1999. He is currently the co-chair of the Lateral Partner Hiring Committee, a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and a former chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department.
