Overview

Christopher D. Jew is an associate in Nutter’s Private Client Department. He represents beneficiaries, heirs, trustees, and fiduciaries in trust and probate administration and litigation.

Clients rely on Christopher to draft a variety of trust and probate litigation petitions, responses, oppositions, and replies. He regularly represents clients before the court in contested trust and probate matters. Christopher also has experience in successfully resolving trust and probate litigation matters through mediation. He advises clients in conservatorship disputes and has successfully argued on his clients’ behalf at conservatorship evidentiary hearings. In addition, Christopher advises clients on estate planning issues, including taxes and wealth transfer.

Christopher serves on the San Francisco County Probate Court panel of court-appointed counsel for proposed conservatees. He is a board member of the Elder Law Section of the Contra Costa Bar Association and a member of the East Bay Trust and Estates Lawyers.

Christopher has over two decades of experience as a trusts and estates attorney. Before practicing law, he participated in study abroad programs at the Temple University of Japan School of Law in Tokyo and National Taiwan University in Taipei.
