A veteran trusts and estates attorney with more than 20 years of experience, Matsumoto advises high net worth clients on tax-efficient strategies to meet their personal estate planning objectives. He will continue to be based in Honolulu, further expanding Nutter’s bi-coastal Private Client Department that is now one of the country’s largest.

“Nutter is committed to building and growing in strategic practices and geographies, and John’s arrival aligns with our growth plan,” said Nutter co-managing partner Michael Scott. “John’s deep expertise in the Hawaii legal landscape, coupled with his extensive network and well-earned reputation for exceptional legal work, further positions Nutter as a powerhouse in trusts and estates law.”
