Overview

Ana M. Allec is an associate in Nutter's Litigation Department, where she focuses her practice on trust and estate administration, probate, and inheritance disputes. She represents individuals in both fiduciary and beneficial capacities, administering trusts and estates, litigating inheritance disputes, and resolving complex beneficiary conflicts. Ana is also experienced representing proposed conservators through the establishment and ongoing management of conservatorships.

Ana's career in trusts and estates began as a judicial fellow at the Contra Costa County Superior Court Probate Department, where she developed an insider's command of probate court practice through intensive research and drafting on guardianship and conservatorship matters. That foundation has shaped a practice defined by precision, client advocacy, and a thorough understanding of how courts approach trust and estate disputes. Her legal background also includes early experience with the Peruvian legal system, giving her a broad perspective on civil law traditions and cross-border legal frameworks.

Ana serves as Vice President of the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers (EBTEL), is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, and is a contributor for the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB). A native of Peru, she is fluent in Spanish.

She earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Environmental Law Journal and received the Grotius Award for Academic Excellence in International Law, along with multiple CALI and Witkin Awards. She holds a B.A. in political science from San Francisco State University.
