Mary T. Nguyen

Mary T. Nguyen is an of counsel in Nutter’s Private Client Department. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She has over a decade of experience in drafting sophisticated estate plans, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, advance health care directives, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. In addition, she has represented trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in numerous probate and trust administrations throughout California.

Mary is active in several professional organizations, including:

• Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, member and former Education Committee Co-Chair;
• California Lawyers Association, member of the Trusts and Estates Section;
• Contra Costa County Bar Association, member; and
• East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers, member.

During law school, Mary was awarded the CALI and Witkin Awards for earning the highest grade in her estate drafting course. She also was the executive development editor and a staff editor at the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and a law clerk at the Delaware Court of Chancery.
