Portia S. Keady
Portia S. Keady is an associate in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department. She focuses her practice on advising clients on all aspects of corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, asset purchase agreements, corporate governance, escrow agreements, and due diligence. In addition, Portia has experience preparing securities filings for publicly traded companies. She has represented both early stage growth companies and investment firms in venture-backed financings. She often advises early stage companies on their day-to-day corporate needs.
Active in the community, Portia is a member of Youth Villages Leadership Council, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children with the most serious emotional and behavioral challenges and their families live successfully.
Prior to joining Nutter, Portia was an associate in the Boston office of an international law firm. Previously, she was an associate in the Boston office of a prominent New England-based law firm and a litigation paralegal at a law firm in New York
Portia earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and her B.A. from Trinity College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is fluent in Italian.
