Portia Keady Elected to Board of the New England-Canada Business Council
Print PDFPortia S. Keady, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate Department, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the New England-Canada Business Council, one of the leading regional organizations promoting cross-border trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Portia has played a leading role in organizing one of NECBC’s signature annual events, its U.S-Canada Economic Forum focusing on cross-border business and investment. For the past two years, she has moderated panel discussions on opportunities and issues surrounding the rollout of Artificial Intelligence (AI), a key focus of her legal practice.

Gulliver. “With an international reputation for her work on the intersection of AI, law, and public policy, Portia brings an expertise to NECBC that could not be more timely. NECBC also has hosted for more than 30 years its Boston Executive Energy Conference that brings together top energy industry CEOs, policymakers, investors, and innovators from both countries.
Portia continues her leadership through her involvement with Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW), a global network of law firms working to best serve their clients, and as founder of the MetroWest Women’s Networking Group, a peer network supporting women at all stages of life and career. She is also a member of the Youth Villages Development Committee and the Concord Board of Health.
