Boston – Nutter served as regulatory legal counsel to Durational Capital Management in its strategic growth investment in Garage Beer, the fastest growing, independent beer brand in the U.S. As part of the transaction, Durational will become a large shareholder of Garage Beer, alongside existing owners and operators Travis and Jason Kelce and Andy Sauer. The Nutter team was led by Nichole Shustack, and included Portia Keady, Isabelle Cunningham, Francesca Considine, and Helen Plunkett.

“Garage Beer is disrupting the premium light beer category by delivering a straightforward, high-quality product that connects with today’s consumers,” said Eric Sobotka, Managing Partner of Durational, and Patrick Khayat, Partner at Durational. “Their rapid growth is a testament to the strength of their brand, their loyal following, and the expertise of their leadership. We’re excited to help fuel their next phase of expansion and delighted to welcome Bill and Rich to the Board, where their industry knowledge will help deepen Garage Beer’s partnerships around the country.”

Proceeds from the investment will be used to further invest in Garage Beer’s marketing, sales force, and field resources to accelerate the company’s explosive growth nationwide and deepen relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers. Learn more about the transaction.
