Nutter Assists With The Baldwin’s Deal for Woodmont Commons Land, Setting Stage for Innovative New Senior Living Community
Print PDFNutter represented Edgewood Retirement Community Inc., The Baldwin Senior Living, and Edgewood Senior Solutions Group Inc. in connection with the acquisition of a 15.1 acre property in Londonderry, NH, where it plans to build an all-new, one-of-a-kind senior living community called The Baldwin. Nutter also advised The Baldwin Senior Living on the issuance of $19,765,000 revenue bonds by The Business Finance Authority of the State of New Hampshire. The legal team included Aaron Gilman, Michael Kushnir, and Matt Doring in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and David Libardoni in the Real Estate Department.
Based in North Andover, MA, Edgewood is an active and unique community offering independent living, health care, and support services which empower members to be architects of their own well-being. The Baldwin will be a Life Plan Community with 190 independent living apartments for adults age 62 and up, on-site health care, and a full complement of services and amenities. Plans for the site include a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, and hot tub; multiple dining venues; an art studio and gallery; a woodworking shop; a library and classrooms; and underground parking.
