Overview

Aaron A. Gilman is a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department. Public and private companies rely on Aaron’s legal counsel in a broad spectrum of corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, complex contractual relationships, and corporate governance issues. As an M&A lawyer, he routinely handles both buy-side and sell-side engagements.

  • Represented a leading global provider of turnkey housing solutions in the sale of all of its assets to a private equity firm for $625 million
  • Advised a national mail order pharmacy in the sale of all of its assets to a private equity firm for $87 million
  • Represented a medical staffing company in the sale of all of its assets for $70 million
  • Advised a national industrial cleaning company in the sale of all of its assets to a private equity firm for $75 million
  • Represented a leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness in the sale of all of its assets to a private equity firm for $26 million
  • Advised on seven separate acquisitions of business intelligence and IT sourcing firms for publicly held IT services firm
  • Represented a wholly-owned subsidiary of a Canadian company in its acquisition by a private equity firm

Aaron is a member of the American and Massachusetts Bar Associations. He serves as a director of the Boch Center, a nonprofit performing arts organization in Boston.
