Nutter Represents iResearch in Its Acquisition by CenExel

Nutter served as legal counsel to iResearch, a leading multi-specialty clinical research center with locations in Decatur, GA and Savannah, GA, in connection with its acquisition by CenExel. The Nutter team was led by Shannon Zollo and included Josh French, AJ Santaniello, and Tim Rennie on corporate matters; Michael Mooney on tax matters; and David Rubin and Natalie Cappellazzo on labor and employment matters.

iResearch has deep experience conducting Phase I-IV studies, having supported more than 200 clinical trials in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The primary therapeutic areas served by iResearch include psychiatry (depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia), neurology (Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, sleep), vaccine, women’s health, and dermatology studies. Following this acquisition, iResearch will benefit from the CenExel site network’s fully integrated and collaborative processes, which include centralized budgeting, business development, contracting, standard operating procedures, rater training, and quality management, among other functions.
