Nutter announced that 32 attorneys spanning the breadth of the firm’s practice groups have been selected for inclusion into The Best Lawyers in America© 2017 list. More than 20 percent of the firm’s 145 attorneys were selected, and three lawyers were selected for Best Lawyers for the first time. In addition, senior real estate partner Robert A. Fishman was named the Best Lawyers 2017 Land Use and Zoning Law “Lawyer of the Year” for a second time in the metropolitan Boston region. The Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” is a prestigious honor named to only one lawyer per practice area within each metropolitan region, based on the highest peer ratings received.

Called “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice,” by Corporate Counsel magazine, Best Lawyers is considered one of the premier and unbiased listings of lawyers in the country. Recipients are selected based on an annual peer-review survey, which Best Lawyers has conducted for over 25 years and is now based on more than 6.7 million votes.
