Overview
Sara Lonks Wong is an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on a broad range of matters, including complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and product liability defense. Sara regularly advises clients in a wide range of industries regarding contemplated or threatened litigation as well as during all phases of litigation. Sara is experienced in various aspects of trial strategy and preparation, including fact witness and expert depositions, motion practice, oral argument, written discovery, and mock jury exercises.
Sara is committed to Nutter’s longstanding legacy of pro bono representation and commitment to civic and charitable engagement. Before joining Nutter, Sara represented clients in education, asylum, and landlord-tenant housing matters.
Prior to joining Nutter, Sara was a litigation associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York, NY, where she assumed lead roles on various case teams including those representing a publisher in federal court litigation involving trademark infringement, copyright ownership, and breach of contract issues as well as a global media company in federal court litigation involving various claims, including fraud and breach of contract. Sara also served as a key member of the trial teams securing three consecutive defense jury verdicts for a pharmaceutical conglomerate.
Before that, Sara served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Bruce M. Selya on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Sara also gained legal experience as a student attorney at Boston College Legal Services LAB, where she represented and counseled clients in family and housing matters.
During law school, Sara served as executive editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest.
