Paul J. Ayoub, a partner and Chair of Nutter, has been named to the list of 150 Most Influential Bostonians by Boston Magazine. The list recognizes the business executives, government officials, influencers, athletes, and leaders in higher education, media, and non-profit who run Boston’s esteemed institutions, spearhead innovation, and reshape the region’s cultural, civic, and economic landscape.

“Ask anyone who the best-connected attorney in the state is, and you’ll likely hear the name Ayoub. A powerhouse not only in his specialty of real estate law but also in politics and civic life, he was recently inducted into the Greater Boston Chamber’s Academy of Distinguished Bostonians—and serves on the board of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and its funding arm, ALSAC,” said Boston Magazine in its listing.

In his legal practice, Ayoub represents a broad range of businesses, as well as commercial real estate developers, owners, and lenders, regionally and nationally. He also advises for-profit and non-profit organizations on corporate governance.  Ayoub served as Chair and is on the Executive Committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is past president of the Board of Directors and a member of the Real Estate & Finance Association.

“I am fortunate to have a platform through my work and civic involvement to help advance economic opportunity, health, and small business growth. I appreciate the recognition, but even more the opportunity to work alongside colleagues, partners, and community leaders – many on this list, and others who serve more quietly – who are committed to strengthening Boston and the communities we serve.”

Ayoub is a longtime leader at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude, together the nation’s largest healthcare nonprofit with over 400 collaborating sites in over 90 countries globally. He has served as Chair of both Boards and is now in his 34th year of continued service on those Boards. He has also served as Co-Chair of the International WELL Building Institute’s Health Equity Advisory.
