Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP has received top ranking among Boston law firms for summer associate lawyer satisfaction in a survey conducted by The American Lawyer. Nutter has ranked in the top tier of this survey for each of the last nine years, placing #1 six times during that period. This year it shares the top spot with three other firms in a four-way tie. The survey is based on responses collected from 5,085 summer associates.

“We welcome this official recognition because of what it says about the value we place on each and every member of our client service teams. At Nutter, we firmly believe that having a committed and collegial work environment correlates directly with top notch client service,” said Deborah J. Manus, managing partner of Nutter.

Nutter also recently ranked first in the nation for mid-level (3rd, 4th and 5th-year) associate satisfaction in The American Lawyer’s 2014 survey, the sixth time the firm has achieved that top ranking nationally. The consistently high ratings are based on associates’ strong scores for access to senior-level guidance, satisfying work, training and guidance and attitude toward pro bono work.
