It is with deep sadness that I report the death of our colleague Pat Butler. Pat was a dear friend, a fine lawyer, and one of the firm’s most respected and beloved partners.
Pat helped found and managed our Hyannis office, and was thankful for the opportunity to live and work in the Cape Cod community that he loved and to which he dedicated so much of his time and talent.
Pat was one of the firm’s most successful attorneys and a mentor and role model for many of our young lawyers. He had a warm and engaging presence, and I speak for everyone at Nutter when I say how deeply he will be missed. Pat was taken from us much too early and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
The Hyannis office will be closed from 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5 until Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 9:00 a.m.
