Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and a co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services group, and Kate Henry and A.J. Santaniello, associates in the Corporate and Transactions Department, wrote an article for Banker & Tradesman titled, “Climate Change Moves Up as a Financial Stability, Supervisory Risk.” In the piece, the three authors discuss how policymakers are increasingly voicing concern that climate change is a potential systemic risk and safety and soundness issue. Additionally, they describe how a new administration will impact future financial regulation policy on climate risk and how it could lead to more agreement among regulators.
