Paul Ayoub, Chair of Nutter, Recognized for Outstanding Contribution to DEI by Chambers USA Awards 2024
Print PDFNutter is proud to announce that Paul Ayoub, Chair of the firm, has been honored for his outstanding contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by Chambers USA Awards 2024. This prestigious accolade acknowledges Ayoub’s exceptional efforts in advancing DEI within the legal, business, and commercial real estate (CRE) sectors.
Chambers USA selects only one individual nationally for “Outstanding Contribution” among attorneys from a wide range of national law firms from across the United States. Nominees are evaluated based on breadth, commitment, impact, advancement, and originality of their work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. In only its second year of recognizing meaningful impact on DEI, attorneys shortlisted in the individual category for “Outstanding Contribution” represented a wide range of national law firms from across the United States.
Ayoub’s recognition highlights his multi-faceted leadership in fostering a more equitable and inclusive business community, particularly during his tenure as Board Chair of both the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce (where he remains engaged as a member of the Executive Committee) and the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA), and as co-founder of the CRE DEI Collaborative (Collaborative).
A unique initiative designed to address the longstanding lack of diverse representation among women and people of color in the real estate field, the Collaborative brings together leaders from 10 regional trade groups, facilitating training, partnerships, and strategies for diversity. In 2024, the Collaborative hosted its third annual leadership Summit, engaging over 200 professionals from various industries and providing actionable strategies to promote racial equity and collaboration with minority- and women-owned businesses.
