Deb Manus Elected Treasurer of the Boston Bar Association

Deborah J. Manus, Nutter’s managing partner, was elected Treasurer of the Boston Bar Association (BBA), effective September 1 for the 2016-2017 term. Deb serves as a member of the BBA’s Trusts and Estate Steering Committee, and also serves as a representative on the ad hoc committee formed by the BBA, the MBA, and the WBA to recommend proposed revisions to the Commonwealth’s spousal elective share legislation. The BBA is the Commonwealth’s premier legal institution, bringing together the brightest and most influential people to lead at the forefront of the profession. The BBA’s mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, and serve the community at large.
