Overview

Alexis Yamin is an associate in Nutter’s Corporate Department. Alexis assists public and private companies in a broad spectrum of corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, and regulatory issues.

Alexis gained legal experience as an intern for the Hon. Serge Georges at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Before that, she worked as a legal assistant for a law firm in New York City.

During law school, Alexis was the senior editor of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review. She served as president of the Business Law Association and as a mentor in the Women’s Law Association.

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Fog Solutions, Inc., a premier data and AI firm, in its sale to Nimble Gravity, a global consultancy specializing in AI, data, and software engineering.

  • Essco Calibration Laboratory

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Essco Calibration Laboratory in its sale to Transcat, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRNS), creating a dominant presence for Transcat in the New England market providing specialized, high-end calibration services to multiple industries, including life sciences, industrial, and aerospace and defense.

  • Cuseum

    Nutter advised Cuseum, a leader in visitor and member engagement software, in connection with its acquisition by BID Equity.

  • Kaplansky Insurance Agency

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Kaplansky Insurance Agency, a property and casualty insurance firm, in its sale to Alera Group, a top national insurance and financial services firm. 

  • Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Piper Sandler, and Brean Capital

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. (KBW), A Stifel Company, as agent and lead-left bookrunner, Piper Sandler & Co., as co-book running manager, and Brean Capital LLC, as co-manager, in connection with the $1.7 billion subscription and firm commitment offering of Columbia Financial, Inc. (Nasdaq Global Select Market: CLBK). The offering was completed simultaneously with Columbia’s second-step conversion and its merger with Northfield Bancorp, Inc.

  • LifeYield

    Nutter advised LifeYield, a Boston-based, tax-smart technology provider, in connection with its acquisition by SEI® (NASDAQ: SEIC).

  • Pleasant View Gardens and Proven Winners

    Nutter represented Pleasant View Gardens and its affiliated entity, Proven Winners North America, in connection with the consolidation of the Proven Winners brand with Four Star Greenhouse and with its structured partnership transaction with private equity firm Staple Street Capital.

  • RockStep Solutions

    Nutter advised RockStep Solutions, Inc., a developer of laboratory-management software designed to offer in vivo study management for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors, in its acquisition by Instem.

  • Verista

    Nutter advised Verista, a leading business and technology consultancy firm, in connection with its acquisition of Integral Solutions.

  • Verista

    Nutter advised Verista, a leading provider of automation, compliance, and quality solutions for the life sciences industry, in connection with its acquisition of Integral Solutions.
