Michael Scott Featured in Boston Business Journal on Big Law’s Expansion in Boston

“We’re very aware of the growing competition, particularly when it comes to attracting and retaining talent,” Mike said. While acknowledging that Big Law firms operate on a different scale, he noted, “Their billing structures and business models don’t always align with what many attorneys are looking for today.”
Mike added that Nutter’s more agile and collaborative environment has been a major draw. “We’ve brought in 15 lateral hires over the past two years – and 12 of them came from AmLaw 100 firms. That speaks volumes about what lawyers are seeking in their careers.”
