Mary Ryan Weighs In on the ABA’s Immigration-Related Resolutions in the ABA Journal

Mary Ryan, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department and co-chair of the ABA Commission on Immigration’s Working Group on Unaccompanied Minor Immigrants, discussed immigration-related resolutions that were passed by the ABA House of Delegates in the ABA Journal. In the article, “Sweeping reforms with 'nonpartisan, core values' recommended for immigration system by the ABA House,” Mary said, “I understand that this resolution [Resolution 121A] would be unnecessary if there were an independent Article I immigration court, but we aren’t there yet.”
