Kathy Williams, Ph.D., a partner in Nutter’s Intellectual Property Department and co-chair of the firm’s Life Sciences practice group, discussed the developments in the CRISPR patent case in BioCentury. In the article, “New CRISPR case to finally settle the score,” Kathy said, “The conundrum now is that everybody assumed only Broad and UC had filing dates good enough to become involved in the interference. This is really extraordinary. It could blow the lid off everything.”
