Ian Roffman, chair of Nutter’s Securities Enforcement and Litigation practice group, served on the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) Judicial Independence Working Group, reported Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. The article, “BBA issues report backing independent judiciary,” discussed how the BBA recently released a report aimed at promoting judicial independence in response to what the organization characterized as “recent increases in both the severity and frequency of negative attacks” on the judiciary.
