Seth Berman, a partner and leader of Nutter’s Privacy and Data Security practice group, was quoted on congressional hearings meant to explore potential national privacy legislation in Law360. In the article, “What To Watch As Congress Mulls Federal Privacy Legislation,” Seth said, “The U.S. actually has a threshold question about enforcement that Europe has resolved. There are a lot of different government organizations in the U.S. that have asserted a role in enforcement in this area, and we would probably benefit if we're able to rationalize that fractured enforcement landscape a bit.”
