Nutter announced today that John Conathan, II has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Trusts and Estates practice in the Hyannis office on Cape Cod. Conathan’s practice is focused on estate planning, probate, wills, trusts and real estate law.
“John’s expertise in estate planning and his existing relationships with the Cape Cod community are a perfect fit for our practice,” said Matthew J. Bresette, a Hyannis-based partner in the Trusts and Estates group.
“We are fortunate to be able to add John’s experience to our established practice here on the Cape,” said Michael E. Mooney, the firm’s managing partner. “His experience will bring valuable strength to our ability to serve our clients.”
Conathan is the past president of the Cape Cod Estate Planning Council and a member of the Planned Giving Council of Cape Cod. He is a member of the Barnstable County, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. He has practiced law on the Cape since 1975.
