Nutter Assists in Provident Bancorp, Inc. Minority Stock Offering

Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP today announced that its Banking and Financial Services practice group represented Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P., the marketing agent for Provident Bancorp, Inc. in connection with its stock offering. Provident Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for The Provident Bank, announced earlier this week that it has closed its minority stock offering. The Company’s stock is now trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the trading symbol “PVBC.”

According to Provident Bancorp, Inc., a total of 4,274,425 shares of common stock are expected to be sold in the subscription offering at $10.00 per share.

The Nutter team who advised Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P. was led by Michael K. Krebs, co-chair of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services practice group.
