Mary Ryan receives Boston College Law School’s St. Thomas More Award

Mary Ryan, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Land Use, Permitting and Development practice group, received Boston College Law School’s prestigious St. Thomas More Award on April 26. The award recognizes a member of the legal community who represents, in his or her professional and private life, the ideals of St. Thomas More.

Mary has over 25 years of experience in environmental and land use litigation. She is active in the legal community and has held a number of leadership positions including serving as a former president of the Boston Bar Association and of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. Mary is a member of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. She has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for the last 20 years, is ranked among the leading environmental law attorneys in the 2004-2010 editions of Chambers USA, and was named the Best Lawyers’ Boston Environmental Lawyer of the Year for 2011.
