The Federation for Children with Special Needs Presents Nutter with President’s Award

The Federation for Children with Special Needs has selected Nutter to receive its 2017 President’s Award. Nutter will be honored at the Federation’s “Gala 2017 – Celebrating Every Child!” at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel on May 5. The President’s Award was established to recognize individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to furthering the work of the Federation.

For the past decade, Nutter has provided financial and pro bono assistance which has helped improve internal operations and advanced the Federation’s mission to serve families of children with special needs. Nutter has a 137 year tradition of active participation in pro bono representation and community service.

The Federation for Children with Special Needs provides information, support, and assistance to parents of children with disabilities, their professional partners, and their communities. The Federation is committed to listening to and learning from families, and encouraging full participation in community life by all people, especially those with disabilities.
