Nutter announced today that Eric P. Magnuson has been elected partner. Eric focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has litigated a diverse range of matters, including insurance, bankruptcy, intellectual property, contract, tort, partnership, business valuation, real estate, construction, commercial lending, and director-and-officer liability. 

Eric's significant representations include co-chairing a jury trial involving claims for millions of dollars in lost profits arising out of a real estate venture; co-chairing an arbitration involving disputes over shareholder agreements and development of intellectual property; prosecuting claims for millions of dollars in insurance coverage for directors and officers; and defending a Fortune 50 company against alleged breaches of fiduciary duty and receipt of preferential transfers.
