Seth Berman has joined Nutter as a partner, augmenting the firm’s expertise in privacy and data security and white collar defense, reported Law360. In the article, “Nutter’s Privacy, White Collar Groups Add Cybersecurity Pro,” Seth noted that ten years ago, there weren’t really cyber lawyers, just white collar lawyers. “Joining Nutter is a way I can really develop the specialty of cybercriminal law,” Seth said. “At Stroz Friedberg I was an ambassador between our clients, which were outside counsel and technical people inside Stroz. Having been a prosecutor who worked with expert witnesses on proving computer crimes, it put me in a unique position to help other lawyers understand how to approach those kinds of cases.”
