Thirty-seven Nutter attorneys participated in the Walk to the Hill for Civic Legal Aid on January 22. The event was designed to urge legislators to prioritize and support level funding in the state’s 2010 budget for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation, which provides critical funding to the state’s civil legal aid organizations. The event, now in its 10th year, included over 800 lawyers and was co-sponsored by the MBA, BBA, Equal Justice Coalition, and more than two dozen specialty bars.
