Nutter attorneys are pleased to participate in this year's virtual Talk to the Hill 2021 on January 27, 2021. While circumstances have forced the event to go virtual, the importance of our advocacy and participation has not changed, and in fact is more important than ever. Civil legal aid is a vital component of the state’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. The effects of the pandemic have disproportionately hit low-income families, and making sure the legislature allocates sufficient funds to help these individuals secure unemployment benefits, maintain housing and meet other legal needs is worthy of our attention and time.

Speakers include Attorney General Maura Healy and newly appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court Kimberly Budd, as well as other leaders in the Boston legal community. After the speaking program, there will be breakout rooms for the Legislative Visits with State Senators.
