Emily Grannon Fox and David Rubin Present on OHS Implications of the Resurgence of Unions at 2023 OHS Leadership Conference

Print PDF

Emily Grannon Fox and David Rubin, partners in Nutter’s Labor, Employment and Benefits practice group, will speak at the 2023 OHS Leadership Conference. Their session, “OHS Implications of the Resurgence of Unions in the US,” will address how in the wake of COVID and inflation, union organizing has been on the rise. At the same time, the National Labor Relations Board has begun to assert itself into new areas of the law and economy. If these trends continue, they will reverberate throughout the OHS world. The time is right, then, for a primer on U.S. labor law, to understand issues such as: the union organizing process, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, health and safety protections in labor law.
