Dan Hartman, an of counsel in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and a member of the Banking and Financial Services group, will present at “Capitalizing on Crypto: Opportunities and Risks for Bankers,” a Mass Bankers Association webinar.

This session will cover the evolving crypto landscape, including risks and opportunities for banks, and provide an overview of the new GENIUS Act, including payment stablecoins, issuer requirements, and regulatory oversight. Attendees will learn how traditional deposits compare to stablecoins, explore ways banks can engage with the emerging crypto industry – through custodial roles, reserves, or innovation leadership – and understand what to watch over the next 18 months as agencies implement new digital asset policies.
