Writing for Information Management, Seth Berman Pens Article on Data Protection Legislation

Seth Berman, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department and leader of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security practice group, wrote an article for Information Management titled “New CCPA reveals trends of data protection legislation to come.” Seth explored the California Consumer Privacy Act, which gives California residents more control over their online data than any other consumers in the country. He added this shifting landscape will continue to add pressure for the federal government to pass comprehensive data privacy legislation, which industry groups hope will preempt a patchwork of state rules.
