Ben Stern Serves as Panelist at the FBA of Massachusetts IP Section Event

Ben Stern, a partner in Nutter’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s IP Litigation practice group, will speak at the “Damages in Patent Litigation – Recent Developments” event organized by the Federal Bar Association (FBA) of Massachusetts IP Section. Ben will speak on the “Rule 702 and Daubert in IP Cases” panel, which will address how the Daubert motion practice has evolved in recent years. This panel will take on recent issues in the assessment of reliability and admissibility of expert opinions in IP cases, including the effect of amended Rule 702, the qualification and role of technical experts, and challenges to an expert’s methodology.
