Melissa Sampson McMorrow, chair of Nutter’s Tax Department and co-chair of the Nonprofit and Social Impact practice group, will present at the Tax Exempt & Government Entities (TEGE) Exempt Organizations Council Update on Legal & Accounting Synergy: From Startup to Compliance.

Melissa’s panel will explore the full lifecycle of exempt organizations, from formation and obtaining tax-exempt status to building a strong operational foundation, maintaining compliance, navigating growth and fundraising opportunities, and planning for mission continuity during wind-down. The session will examine critical considerations for legal counsel, CPAs, and accountants at every stage of an organization’s development.
