Register

The much-anticipated Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) regulations were released this summer and the program will take effect on January 1, 2021. Learn what employers and employees should expect with the PFML program, particularly compliance, premium collection, employee qualifications, and benefits. William Alpine, Director of the Massachusetts Department of Family and Medical Leave, will join Nutter Labor, Employment and Benefits attorneys as we navigate this timely topic.

The Department of Family and Medical Leave oversees all aspects of the Commonwealth’s PFML program. Starting January 2021, workers will be eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid family leave and up to 20 weeks of paid medical leave.
