William J. Bernat, co-chair of Nutter’s Emerging Companies Group and a leader in the firm's Food and Beverage industry group, will present at Nutter’s Food & Beverage lunch program “Negotiating Commercial Agreements for High Growth Food & Beverage Entrepreneurs” on February 7. During this roundtable discussion geared towards food and beverage entrepreneurs, Will will navigate through some common issues encountered by entrepreneurs when negotiating commercial agreements in the food and beverage industry, including co-pack, distribution, broker/agency, and product development agreements.

Topics will include exclusivity, termination and termination fees, non-compete obligations, protection of intellectual property, and other potential pitfalls. This lunch is part of a series focused on a variety of legal topics of interest to emerging and growth stage companies in the food and beverage industry.
