Nutter hosted the Boston Philanthropic Advisors Roundtable (BPART) 6th Annual Luncheon “Passing the Torch: Next Generation Philanthropy” on December 6. The event brought together 100 BPART members for a discussion on how families, advisors and community foundations are engaging young adults, college and high school students, and even younger children in philanthropic pursuits, whether through educational programs, volunteering, fundraising, or grantmaking. Julia Satti Cosentino, manager of the Trusts and Estates Department and chair of the Nutter Charitable Advisors practice group, and Melissa Sampson McMorrow, a partner in the Tax Department and a member of Nutter Charitable Advisors, hosted the event.

The program was moderated by John Przybylski, Director of Financial Planning at Federal Street Advisors, Inc. and panelists included: Abby Raphel, Executive Director of The Redwoods Initiative, Rebecca Riccio, Founding Program Director of Northeastern Students4Giving, and Jennifer Ubaldino, Youth in Philanthropy Advisor at Foundation for MetroWest.
