Print PDF

Nutter served as a sponsor of the Boston Patent Law Association’s (BPLA) event “Translating Platform Life Science Technology into Products” at the Broad Institute on October 26. The event featured a unique perspective on the journey from concept to commercialization of platform technologies. Three panels discussed different stages of the journey, and how these stages have evolved over recent years. Topics included the recent history of translating/licensing platform technologies from the lab to the commercial entities, IP strategy and how it affects transaction terms, and how technologies are evaluated from the perspective of strategic and financial investors.
