Nutter will host the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council’s (MassMEDIC) IVD Forum on October 11. The event will feature a presentation “Lessons Learned” by Donald B. Hawthorne, President & CEO, Daktari Diagnostics, on lessons learned over a thirty year career in the IVD sector, and a briefing “Laboratory Developed Tests (LDT’s): How to Prepare for FDA Enforcement,” by Michael Wienholt, RAC, Principal Consultant, Halloran Consulting Group, on preparing for FDA’s final guidance document regulating Laboratory Developed Tests.

MassMEDIC is an organization of medical device manufacturers, suppliers, and associated non-profit groups in Massachusetts and the surrounding region which strives to create a positive environment which will nurture developing companies, retain and help established medical device companies to grow, and attract new companies to Massachusetts. MassMEDIC’s IVD Forum is an informal group of IVD executives, industry suppliers and followers.
