Mary K. Ryan, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and a member of the Environmental and Land Use practice groups, presented at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) “15th Annual Environmental, Land Use & Energy Law Conference 2014” on January 30. The conference provided updates on what’s happened in the legislature, state agencies, and courts, and what’s new at the municipal level. Panelists surveyed the critical new developments in each of the major fields of environmental law, energy law, land use, and related litigation. Topics included the regulatory reform agenda at DEP, enforcement, and surveys of important court decisions, in addition to new presentations on key energy law items of practical note to attorneys as well as a municipal law survey of cases, rulings, and statutes affecting environmental and land use clients.
