Liam O’Connell, chair of the firm’s Labor, Employment and Benefits Practice group and chair of the Litigation Department, presented the session “Technology and the Workplace” at the 2013 Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) Human Resources Conference on April 23. The program focused on social media and its impact on employee relations issues, the use of smart phones in the workplace and while traveling for business, and the challenges associated with data privacy laws and considerations.
