Overview

Theodora D. Danias is an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department. Clients rely on Theo’s experience in all stages of litigation including motion practice, managing discovery, advocating at hearings and trials, and preparing appeals.

Theo gained legal experience as an intern at the Office of the General Counsel at Mass General Brigham, where she primarily conducted legal research and drafting on employment matters. She has also served as a legal intern for the Managing Attorney’s Office at the Office of the New York State Attorney General, and as a legal intern for Southold Town Justice Court in Southold, NY.

Before attending law school, Theo worked as a paralegal specialist at a law firm in New York City focusing on white collar defense and investigations, complex commercial disputes, and corporate compliance. She drafted legal documents, conducted legal research, and assisted with case management.

During law school, Theo served as senior editor of the Northeastern University Law Review. She also served as a volunteer for South Coastal Counties Legal Services, where she created informational guides to assist clients with legal matters.

Theo was a recipient of the Hellenic Lawyers Association Scholarship in 2023 and has served as a corresponding secretary for the Maids of Athena, a Greek philanthropic organization.
