Nithya Sheshadri

Nithya Sheshadri is an associate in Nutter’s Private Client Department. She advises high net worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and provides guidance through all aspects of estate and trust administration. Drawing on her expertise in tax law, Nithya designs and implements strategies that enable her clients to preserve and transfer wealth efficiently.

Prior to joining Nutter, Nithya was a tax associate at Kirkland & Ellis in their Palo Alto, CA, and New York, NY offices. She advised clients on a broad range of transactional tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions and fund formation, and drafted tax provisions for primary and ancillary deal documents. Nithya also negotiated investor side letters and analyzed complex tax structuring issues.

Nithya gained legal experience as a legal intern at the Federal Trade Commission. Previously, she was a research associate at NERA Economic Consulting and an intern for Congresswoman Katherine Clark.

During law school, Nithya served as the JD editor at the Tax Law Review.
