Kathryn A. Parsons

Kathryn A. Parsons is an associate in Nutter’s Private Client Department. She counsels high net worth individuals and families on estate planning and administration, tax-minimization strategies, and charitable giving.

Prior to joining Nutter, Kathryn was an associate at Davis Polk in their Northern California offices. She drafted legal opinions, transaction documents, and due diligence reports for issuers and financial institutions across M&A deals, and capital markets debt and equity offerings, including IPOs.

Kathryn also gained legal experience as a judicial extern at the Sacramento Superior Court, an intern at the Environmental Defense Center, and an intern at the Office of the District Attorney, Santa Clara County.

During law school, Kathryn served as a Senior Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and as a Research Assistant to Senior Associate Dean Afsharipour.
